Our Story
We grew up side by side, spending weekends with our grandfather, tinkering in the yard and learning the satisfaction of building something with our own hands. Those early days sparked a passion that carried us through high school, where we started crafting tiny homes, and into university—Greg attended Drew University in New Jersey and Zach attended the University of Miami—both studying software engineering and sharpening the problem-solving mindset that still guides our work today.
After graduation, we realized the corporate world wasn’t where we belonged. Instead, we followed our instincts—and our craftsmanship—into the field of water remediation. From there, our skills and reputation grew, allowing us to expand naturally into full reconstruction services, including kitchens, bathrooms, decks, drywall, and painting.
Today, we’re proud to run a family business rooted in trust, teamwork, and a love of building. We work alongside close friends and talented tradespeople to bring quality projects to life—projects we’re proud to share with our community.
Why We’re Called Ukrainian Restoration
We chose the name Ukrainian Restoration as a tribute to the community and culture that shaped us. Growing up in a close-knit Ukrainian community, we spent our summers at cultural camps where we learned about our heritage, history, and traditions. Each year, we proudly performed traditional Ukrainian dances in full embroidered attire—a celebration of resilience, pride, and unity.
When it came time to name our company, we wanted something that carried the same values we were raised with: honor, integrity, hard work, and a commitment to creating something beautiful.
Our logo features a Kozak—a symbol of strength, courage, and independence in Ukrainian history. The Kozaks were known as fierce protectors of their land and people, embodying bravery, loyalty, and an unbreakable spirit. To us, this spirit represents the way we approach every project: with passion, discipline, and pride in our craft.
What We Do
At Ukrainian Restoration, we are a full-service construction company specializing in water damage recovery and reconstruction. When disaster strikes, our team handles the entire process from start to finish—first performing water remediation to stop and remove the damage, then managing all reconstruction work to fully restore your property.
Beyond water-related projects, we also take on a wide range of general construction work, including kitchens, bathrooms, decks, drywall, painting, and more.
